You activate this when you need to concentrate on complicated problems or pay attention to a task like reading or listening to a talk. (I.E. Reading the questions in "Unleash the Brilliance of Your Next Big Thing.)
The RED Region? That's the Imagination Network
You use it for things like imagining the future and alternative perspectives and remembering things from the past. It helps you construct mental images when you're engaged in these activities. (I.E. What you need to do in answering the questions in the workbook.)
Sometimes, it's helpful for the networks to work with each other,
and sometimes such cooperation can impede the creative process.
