I'm Lizabeth Phelps, and I founded Inspired Leaders’ Academy in 2007 to provide visionary entrepreneurs seeking to deepen their influence and impact in the world a proprietary business development curriculum.

This is a sequential curriculum but there is--don't let anyone tell you otherwise--a step-by-step process for developing a business that works.

The sequence I take my private clients through begins with branding and messaging--the foundation of success--and moves into program creation, then marketing and selling. Business is all about powerful influential communication--it is a crucial element of every phase of the sequence--and clients commission me to extract their one-of-a-kind message, develop enticing, transformational programs, and craft language that converts.

Years of expertise in marketing, writing, coaching, training, speaking, adult learning/ brain-based learning strategies, and instructional design has forged me into part "inventor"; part "creative department of an ad agency" and part "screenwriter”—and affords me comprehensive understanding of communication and businesses that work.

I earned my Bachelors of Science in Advertising and Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology, worked in the creative departments of two advertising agencies in Manhattan, then at Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. Changing direction in 2001, I was certified as an empowerment coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching and since then have assisted executives and entrepreneurs across the globe in influential communication. I am currently installed on the Leadership Development Council at Seton Hall University, and also mentor TED fellows.

My mission is to challenge the status quo, stamp out mediocrity and develop world-class entrepreneurial leaders who do the same, with powerful messages, powerfully delivered!
